You can grab Magnet from the Mac App Store for $2 (opens in new tab).

Magnet has been one of the top-selling productivity Mac apps in the App Store over the past few months, so I'm not the only one who finds it useful. And if it makes me more productive, all the better. I like my desktop to be organized neatly, rather than having windows on top of windows on top of windows. Maybe my love of Magnet is due to my fascination with Things Organized Neatly, which features image of products that are neatly arranged on a floor or tabletop. Activated by dragging, customizable keyboard shortcuts or via menu bar, Magnet declutters your screen by snapping windows into organized tiles. That's a lot of ways to keep your desktop organized. Magnet Window manager for Mac Magnet keeps your workspace organized. The left, right, top, and bottom halves of the screen are support left, center, and right thirds of the screen are supported left two thirds and right two thirds of the screen are also supported. Magnet is a more powerful option, however, because it gives you so many different options. You can even move the divider to the left or right if you want one app to take up more screen real estate. It's essentially like Split View on an iPad. Although it normally runs in the background, the settings can be changed so that it will only function upon manual activation.Mac has its own simplified version of Magnet if you hover over the full screen button in an application, you can tile a window to the left or right side of the screen. A widget is placed within the menu bar so that he user can access this application whenever necessary. This will dramatically reduce the time required to switch between different applications and vastly streamline the entire navigation process. Different icons and items can be dragged to a specific location and they can then be permanently 'snapped' into corners. The major benefit of Magnet is that its intuitive nature allows the entire system to be very easy to utilise. This makes it much easier to multitask and thanks to the ability to view files side by side, this application is ideal for businesses, college students and indeed anyone who has been looking for an efficient organisational tool.
